Used these at the outdoor rifle range today. Fit wise they are way better than standard electronic ear muffs which get in the way when you are sighting in an AR. Std ear muffs don't allow you to rest your cheek on the rifle stock as they are too bulky. These are flat to the head & don't disrupt your cheek to stock placement especially if you wear them around the back of your head like Hitcock 45 does. In fact if you check his website it states that he uses a Howard Leight ear muffs band. They have pretty much good sound surpression but they fit too tight in your ear & are a little uncomfortable. The orange tips also come off of the band when you try to remove them during a cease fire. The tips stay in your ear canal while the band comes completely off. You then have to remove the plugs from your ear and place them on the tip holders on the head band. Next time I'll try using just the plugs without the head/neck band, they might work even better & not interfere with your cheek to stock contact.Overall it works pretty good dispite the negative querks. The price is right so I can't complain there. Will have to try it at the indoor pistol range to see if it works there.
