I love this thing so much, exactly what I paid for its hidden drawer is deep and can hold a goof amount and when it's open even if weight is not ditribited evenly whatsoever it holds up.The bottoms will creek a little if you rest your feet on it too hard since it's just a tier above plank wood but the mechanics are sturdy very stiff at first and loosen up over time. I live in a one bedroom apartment with a full couch and 2 chairs and this fits as the perfect side table! BONUS FOR "SMALL" PET OWNERS - my cats tail < full body 25-28 inches long> no longer can easily swipe across the table and knock everything over. Hell get he ocational item but it's just a little bit hw can reach with the tail when walking
