Intensely scented, reasonably priced. The Vanilla extract I made from them is exquisite.So excited to make my own vanilla. I thought I had ordered Madagascar, but sure enough, I had ordered the Tahitian beans that arrived, smelling all lovely. They were moist and the weight was exactly four ounces. I have two bottles of Tahitian bean pieces steeping in vodka and will have to order the Madagascar beans now.I can honestly say that I bought this item based solely on reviews. I was having nightmares about the price and started to believe I had made a mistake with the purchase. I have purchased Vanilla Beans from two different suppliers in the past at a WAY cheaper price and was not real happy, which is what led me here in the first place. What I can say is I am REALLY happy with this purchase. I received 30 nice sized beans (shown on a large dinner plate in the photo). The smell, color and feel of the beans is excellent. It will be awhile before I really know anything about the flavor of course because I am making extract, but if you are having any nightmares about the price STOP! It did come one day late, but due to the quality of the beans I am not displeased at all with that. I am VERY happy with my purchase. Thank you Vanilla Bean Kings!! :)I received your vanilla beans and had bought a large (1.75 L) bottle of vodka. I sliced down each bean and placed them in this bottle. The second day after putting them in the bottle I noticed that there were a couple good sized worms in the bottom of the bottle.This is only the second time that I have bought vanilla beans to make vanilla to bottle for family gifts and I was quite disappointed to see the worms in the bottom of the vodka bottle. As you know vanilla beans are very expensive at this time and along with the expense of the Absolute Vodka that I had bought this is a very costly and frustrating loss for me.I did not want to put this on the Amazon product review because people today feed on negative reviews and then get very nasty and that is not how I want this to be handled.I thank you for listening and look forward to receiving a return email with a resolution to this issue.I have bought their vanilla beans before. Quality products that I will buy againI was very pleased with the vanilla beans.This is my first time buying vanilla beans online. In comparison to the Madagascar vanilla beans I bought at the grocery store they were soft and easy to cut. They had a strong fragrance of chocolate and vanilla. This is after I froze them for 4 days and thawed for 1. I can't wait till my Vanilla extract is ready to use. I will try and update my review after I can cook with it!Ordered 1/4 lb of Tahitian beans for $65 (cheapest as of October 19, 2019). Received 10/21/2019. There were 27 beans, around 6 to 8 inches in length. They smelled very nice and were easy to cut down the middle. The beans are now soaking in 750ml of Everclear at 95%. Hoping for a very strong double fold extract in about 6 months to a year. Might order another batch for extracting with vodka (the normal thing to do).
